A woman got busted shoplifting ingredients to make a cake and when the officer arrived, he didn’t arrest her. See what he did instead…
Ccenterdispatch.com says that the officer responded to call that a New Hampshire woman had shoplifted “cake mix, shortening and a couple things of frosting.” The officer found out who the woman was and went to her house to get the stuff she stole back and to arrest her.
When he arrived, he found out that the shoplifter was a mom who wanted to bake a cake for child’s birthday.
According to the SeacoastOnline.com, the officer agreed that what the woman did wasn’t right, but he said:
“I’m not going to take away a kid’s birthday cake.”
He went back to the store and paid for the stuff she stole and the woman is not going to be charged.
The officer said:
“I didn’t do it for the attention. What you do when no one is looking, that’s the character of someone.”
That was soo cool of him! :)
